Job Description
The Market Finance Director will oversee the financial performance of their respective market. The position will support both regional leadership and executive leadership out of the FL Corporate HQ. The Market Finance Director will oversee reporting, forecasting, planning, variance analysis, medical cost analysis and all other financial related items. The Market Finance Director will be responsible for one of ChenMed’s Family of Companies key markets.
The Market Finance Director will be accountable for the overall financial performance of their respective market. The position will support regional and executive leadership and will interface on matters of market strategy, performance, contracts, et al. The candidate should have a solid background in accounting, financial forecasting/budgeting, and financial discipline. Financial results focus will inform day to day activities as well as strategic actions; must demonstrate ability to move data analysis to information that supports recommendations for specific action.


  • This position will focus 50% of the time on finance and new growth strategy.
  • Financial reporting and analysis as well as GAAP Analysis
  • Ability to oversee a P&L, control cost/budget, monthly financial reviews, et al.
  • Expertise in Planning/Strategy development and/or driving strategic vision across organization
  • Ability to drive a culture of compliance and financial accountability
  • Strong ability to deliver financial performance and profit, aligning local strategic goals with that of the overall organization’s goals
  • Acts as a true partner to senior leadership with the mind-set of a strategic solution driven consulting
  • Understands and communicates market trends, risks and opportunities either with current or future business
  • Experiences leading a business in different geographies or multiple markets/regions
  • Other duties as assigned and modified at manager’s discretion.


  • Knowledge of Medicare and/or Medicare Advantage preferred.
  • Strong experience in reporting, planning, trend analysis and interpretation.
  • Strategic alliances and business partnering is critical.
  • Experience as leader, driving accountability and achieving success.
  • Ability to communicate effectively with local teams, regional leadership, and Executive leadership.
  • Technical proficiency using the Microsoft Office suite, including Word, Excel, PowerPoint.
  • Strong communication and teamwork skills are critical for success.
  • Demonstrated ability to produce quality results under deadline pressure.
  • This position requires less than 10% of travel nationwide.
Additional Job Description


  • Bachelor’s degree required, Master’s degree preferred.
  • Finance/Certified Public Accountant (CPA) is desired.
  • 7+ years of financial and leadership experience, preferably in a Healthcare Company.
  • Medicare Advantage and/or Health Plan experience preferred.
  • Candidate out of the Big 4 Accounting firms a big plus!
