Value-Based Care is more than a way a healthcare model; it’s a mindset. This model of care provides patients with advocates and clinical leaders that will fight to keep them happy, healthy, out of the hospital.

Join ChenMed’s Primary Care experts and patient advocates, Dr. Faisel Syed, Dr. Dan McCarter, and Dr. Alexandria Beranger, as they explain the foundations of Value-Based Care and why it outweighs the volume benefits of the fee-for-service model.

About the Speakers:

About Dr. Faisel Syed: Dr. Syed has recently been featured on international news outlets to discuss COVID-19. He earned his medical degree at the Iberoamerican University in Santo Domingo, Dominican Republic before moving on to perform his family medicine residency in Columbus, Georgia. Upon completing his residency in 2014, he began serving the Tampa community and has been making an impact ever since.

About Dr. Dan McCarter: Dr. McCarter specializes in family medicine and population health. He earned a bachelor’s degree from the University of Virginia, doctorate from the University of Virginia School of Medicine, and completed his family medicine residency at the University of Virginia Health System. He is a member of the American Academy of Family Physicians, the Virginia Academy of Family Physicians, the Medical Society of Virginia and the Society of Teachers of Family Medicine.

About Dr. Alexandria Beranger: Dr. Alexandria Beranger knows that when patients feel supported by their doctor, they can benefit from a better care experience. “I’m dedicated to providing quality patient care and education that empowers seniors to take charge of their health. Healthcare issues, especially for Seniors, can be complicated,” she says. “They deserve doctors who listen, not lecture, and who make time to know them on a deeper level. It builds the trust that’s so important in the doctor-patient relationship.
