Eric Magnussen

Eric Magnussen serves as Chief People Officer at ChenMed, where he leads the organization's enterprise people strategy, including talent attraction and selection, enterprise learning, HR business partnership, employee relations, and total rewards.

Since joining ChenMed in March 2026, Eric has focused on modernizing the employee talent lifecycle, strengthening organizational performance, and developing programs that support ChenMed's continued growth. introduced AI-enabled recruiting capabilities that increased provider hiring productivity by 30%, and launched a Talent Dashboard to support workforce planning and talent decisions.

Eric brings more than 20 years of healthcare leadership experience, with expertise in organizational transformation, talent management, executive succession planning, and building high-performing cultures. Before joining ChenMed, he served as Chief Human Resources Officer at Great Expressions Dental Centers, overseeing human resources strategy for 230 practices across nine states. Previously, he held several leadership roles at Cancer Treatment Centers of America, including Senior Vice President of Talent, where he helped guide the organization's expansion and enterprise transformation.

Eric is passionate about ChenMed's mission to transform care for seniors and believes that investing in people, culture, and leadership is essential to helping patients experience more good days.

He earned an Executive MBA from Northwestern University's Kellogg School of Management and a bachelor's degree in English from Wabash College.

Originally from Greenfield, Indiana, Eric resides in Delray Beach, Florida, with his wife and two sons. Outside of work, he enjoys auto racing, including IndyCar, NASCAR, and Formula 1.
