WHY: “Decades of vaccination history confirm the vital role primary care physicians must play to annually address patient questions and concerns about safety and benefits associated with each and every vaccine,” says Jason Lane, M.D., ChenMed National Medical Director, Clinical Strategy and Outcomes. “This is particularly true in underserved communities, where there clearly is less trust for government encouraged public health initiatives, and where we have seen how positive health outcomes can be achieved when primary care doctors focus on delivering VIP service and earning patient trust every day.”

HOW: Headquartered in Miami for over 30 years, ChenMed’s long-term focus on transforming care of the neediest populations increasingly is making the medical practice operating more than 75 centers in 10 states a sought-after public/private partner for laser-focused COVID-19 vaccine administration. The company’s Chen, Dedicated, and JenCare Senior Medical Centers are rapidly advancing similar COVID-19 vaccination initiatives targeting thousands of underserved seniors in a several Florida cities (Jacksonville, Largo, Orlando, Clearwater, St. Petersburg); plus in Atlanta; Chicago; Louisville; New Orleans, Philadelphia and Richmond and Portsmouth, Va.

COVID-19 vaccinations are also underway weekdays at multiple Chen Senior Medical Centers. Interested journalists must schedule interview visits given rigorous at-center safety protocols.
